Montoya, Sorenson and Stremme Were a Hit at Wrigley

CONCORD, N.C. (July 17, 2007)-CCGRFS drivers Juan Pablo Montoya, Reed Sorenson and David Stremme stuck around the Chicagoland Speedway area a little longer this past weekend to take in the Chicago Cubs baseball game Monday night at the historical Wrigley Field.

The three drivers arrived to the baseball facility in style Monday evening as they rolled up to the game in the No. 41 Wrigley’s Juicy Fruit®, the No. 41 Wrigley’s Winterfresh® and the No. 42 Wrigley’s Big Red® Dodges.

Upon their arrival, the three drivers were greeted by numerous fans outside the field before proceeding inside to observe batting practice.  Just prior to game time, all three headed to the pitcher’s mound to cheer on Sorenson as he threw out the first pitch.

They then topped of their visit by leading the 40,000-plus crowd in the seventh inning stretch song, “Take me out to the ball game.”
Behind-the-scenes coverage from the CGRFS drivers’ Monday night visit to the Chicago Cubs baseball game was included on Tuesday night’s edition of NASCAR Now on ESPN2.
