Debuts New Line of Juan Pablo Montoya Apparel

CONCORD, N.C. (September 29, 2006)
Before Juan Pablo Montoya, future driver of the Texaco/Havoline Dodge, makes his stock car debut at the ARCA RE/MAX Series event on Friday, Oct. 6 at Talladega Superspeedway, Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates (CGRFS) announced today the team's official website www.chipganassiracing.com  would begin taking orders for its new line of JPM and Texaco/Havoline team merchandise.

Montoya's vast international fan base and Texaco/Havoline's NASCAR fan base now have the green light to place orders for the first wave of his CGRFS team gear- officially marking his historic move from Formula 1 to the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series as the pilot of the No.42 Texaco/Havoline Dodge Charger next season.

"The addition of Juan to our team has created a number of marketing opportunities on an international level, and today's announcement furthers our commitment to the CGRFS brand and to that of our sponsors and our drivers as we prepare for 2007," said CGR Teams, Inc. Vice President of Marketing Dan Griffis. "The full line of JPM merchandise will appeal to a worldwide fan base, including everything from vintage Texaco/Havoline gear to more modern pieces that will capture current trends."

By logging onto www.chipganassiracing.com and selecting the "Store" tab in the navigation menu, JPM and Texaco/Havoline fans will be taken to the CGRFS online store where the new line is now available for purchase. Six items are already available for pre-ordering, including Juan Pablo Montoya element caps (black/grey) and men's and ladies short and long sleeve tee shirts.

Keep checking back for new JPM items as they become available over the coming weeks. Fans can also expect select pieces of the classic "Texaco/Havoline No.42 Racing" line of merchandise toward the beginning of November.

The full line of all CGRFS team merchandise will be available at the 2007 Daytona 500 in February.
